Either at work, during the night or while away I like to be able to check on our chickens. I always worry while we’re not home so being able to check on them gives me some peace of mind.
We have used the Wyze system in our house for awhile now and when they came out with their outdoor version we got a couple for the driveway and our backyard. We loved the outdoor cameras and decided to get a couple more for the coop!

Inside the coop and outside in the run we have outdoor cameras hooked to solar panels so we don’t have to worry about charging them as often, especially in the summer when the panels get lots of light.

We can easily check every camera from our phones, watch them live, talk through our cameras and get notifications and record clips when pets, motion or a person is detected. There is also an option to customize the area that will detect these so you’re not getting notifications all the time and worry about draining the battery.
Wyze Plugs
Wyze also makes plugs you can turn on and off from your phone or set schedules to turn on and off at a certain time. These can be perfect if you add artificial light to your coop in the winter.
Solar Coop Lights
For light when I am in the coop at night we have two lights on a solar panel that I can control from a remote. You can also choose to have them on for a certain time (3hrs, 5hrs and 8hrs).
We have been using these same lights for almost 3 years now and they are amazing!
